GMR Infra chairman buys stake through open market

GMR Infrastructure Ltd's (GIL's) chairman G M Rao has increased his personal stake in the company by buying shares worth Rs 1.61 crore. GIL has many subsidiaries out of was prominent one is GEL of which, GIL directly/indirectly holds 97.9% stake in GEL. GEL is the operating cum holding company for all the power assets of GMR group in India and abroad.
