Optical fibre lines in Gurgaon for state utilities

The central power transmission utility, Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), has signed a lease agreement with Haryana's main power distributor to install optical fibre lines in Gurgaon and Panchkula. As per the terms of the contract, PGCIL will be leasing out optical lines already owned by the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPN), apart from being granted the right of way in some areas for installation of new optical ground wires.
