Draft coal regulator Bill to be discussed by Group of Ministers

The Group of Ministers (GoM) headed by Finance Minister, Mr. P. Chidambaram has met on December 18, 2012 to discuss the Draft Coal Regulator Bill. This was the third deliberation on the issue by the lawmakers. The pricing power for the regulator was one of the contentious issues to emerge when the Draft Coal Regulator Bill was taken up by the Cabinet in May. The Cabinet had referred the matter to the GoM.
