Solar Wafer

The global average wafering capacity was up 81% in 2008 from its 2007 levels and stood at 8.3 GW which increased to 10 GW in 2009. The wafering industry also went through the same downturn as the P-Si manufacturing industry. However, India does not have any wafering capacity currently.
