The Sistema Shyam Teleservices, a Troubled CDMA operator is likely to benefit from the deferment of decision on the 800 MHz spectrum auction by the Empowered Group of Ministers ( EGoM) on telecom. Sistema Shyam Teleservices is set to lose all its operating permits, except in Rajasthan, in January as a result of a February Supreme Court order cancelling 122 telecom licences for alleged corruption in spectrum allocation.
The government would not be able to conduct the auction for the 800 MHz
